About Nunex
Nunex is a Portuguese brand of hygiene products for babies and children. We develop and manufacture diapers, wipes and underpads in Portugal, committed to offering quality, safety and comfort from day one. All our production is carried out in-house, which allows us to guarantee strict quality control.
Our mission is to continuously improve the lives of all mothers, fathers and babies, working hard to develop products that provide comfort, peace of mind and well-being, because we know that babies feel the difference. We also believe that the best quality doesn't have to mean the highest price, so we strive to offer the market a diverse range of extremely high-quality products at a fair price. We are recognised and certified for the rigorous quality management of our products.

Diapers
The right size depends on your baby's weight. In the size guide on the Nunex website you can see the recommended weight for each size. If you prefer, myGhost also has a calculator.
If leaks start to become frequent, if red marks appear on the waist or thighs, or if the tabs no longer fasten properly, it's time to move up to the next size.
Yes. Our diapers are tested to provide up to 12 hours of protection. The latest-generation absorbent core keeps moisture away from your baby's skin, preventing leaks and irritation during sleep.
The main difference between the two ranges lies in the focus of the protection: Dropline relies on absorption technology for long periods, while Nature focuses on sustainability.
Nunex Dropline is our high-performance diaper. Thanks to its patented fast-absorption channel and anatomical design, it guarantees 12 hours of dryness, making it the ideal choice for a good night's rest and maximum moisture retention when your baby is on the move.
Nunex Nature is our most eco-friendly option. It uses natural, biodegradable raw materials, such as PLA, a material derived from corn starch, which reduces the environmental impact when the diaper is thrown away. It's the right choice for those who prioritise sustainable materials and a more natural contact with the skin.
Both ranges are free from fragrances, latex and parabens and have been clinically tested, which reduces the risk of allergies and irritation.
We favour neutrality. Our diapers contain no fragrances or lotions that could interfere with the skin's natural pH or cause allergic reactions. Nunex's focus is on keeping the skin barrier dry through breathable materials, rather than by applying external chemical agents.
Yes. All Nunex products undergo rigorous testing in external, independent laboratories, with positive results. These tests confirm the high skin tolerance of the materials and ensure that the diapers are safe for direct contact with babies' sensitive skin, preventing the risk of allergies and irritation.
Underpads
Nunex underpads are thin and have an absorbent core that quickly retains liquids. They help with diaper changes and, during potty training, keep your baby's bed dry through the night. Because they are slim, they are also handy when travelling, so you can change a diaper anywhere.
We have two 60x60 cm models: Nunex Super (25 pieces) and Nunex Nature Super (20 pieces). The latter has a cellulose core from sustainably managed forests and a fabric made of plant fibres, such as corn starch PLA and bamboo, free from harmful chemicals.
Yes, they have a waterproof layer, so liquids do not pass through to the surface underneath. The absorbent core retains them quickly and, during potty training, helps keep the bed dry through the night.
Wipes
None of the ranges contain alcohol or parabens. The difference lies in the ingredients and in what you can do with the wipe after use.
Nature is 99% water, fragrance-free, and contains no plastic or synthetic fibres. It is the gentlest of the three.
Sensitive also contains no plastic or synthetic fibres and is made with 98.5% naturally derived ingredients, to nourish the skin.
Basic is made with 98.8% naturally derived ingredients, with Chamomile Water and inulin to soothe the skin, but it does contain plastic.
Nature and Sensitive are biodegradable and can be flushed down the toilet (no more than two at a time). Basic should go in the household waste.

Yes. Nunex wipes are designed for babies' sensitive skin and contain no alcohol or parabens, so you can use them on the face, hands and nappy area. Nature, with 99% water and no fragrance, is the gentlest.
Our packs don't have a lid, they have a plastic adhesive seal. After taking out a wipe, close it firmly so that no air or bacteria get in. This way the wipes don't dry out and stay in good condition.
Unlike most wipes on the market, Nunex Sensitive and Nunex Nature wipes are made with 100% no plastics and no synthetic fibres. They are made exclusively from natural fibres that break down in water.
Because they are biodegradable and made of natural materials: they can be flushed down the toilet (as they break down in water, they can be disposed of this way; we only recommend that you don't flush more than two at a time to ensure your plumbing works properly); they have a lower environmental impact (they decompose naturally in much less time than wipes containing plastic, which can take hundreds of years to disappear); and they are safer (the absence of plastics and synthetic chemicals makes them much gentler and suitable for babies' sensitive skin, especially the Nature range, which is 99% water).
Nunex Basic wipes, on the other hand, contain plastic.
Only wipes that state on the packaging that they are biodegradable can be flushed down the toilet, as they are made of cellulose fibres that break down in water. All others should go in the household waste to avoid blocking the pipes. Both our Sensitive and Nature wipes are made with these natural materials and contain no plastic, so they can be flushed. To make sure everything goes smoothly with your home's drainage, we only recommend that you don't flush more than two wipes at a time.
None of the ranges contain alcohol or parabens. Nature is completely fragrance-free (99% water), Sensitive uses 98.5% naturally derived ingredients to nourish the skin, and Basic (98.8% natural) uses Chamomile Water and inulin for soothing care without synthetic chemicals.
Material that undergoes chemical degradation by microorganisms (bacteria and fungi) into simpler molecules. The raw material used in biodegradable wipes is made of 100% cellulose fibres (tissue).
A flushable product is one that is suitable for disposal down the toilet. The material is compatible with the domestic wastewater drainage system thanks to its high capacity to break down on contact with water. For a raw material to be considered flushable, there must be evidence (tests carried out by the supplier) showing that: 1. it passes through wastewater transport systems and is compatible with wastewater treatment, reuse and disposal systems without causing blockages, clogging or other operational problems; 2. it is unrecognisable in effluents leaving on-site and municipal wastewater treatment systems and in digested sludge from wastewater treatment plants that is applied to land.
