Adult Diapers
For cases of very severe incontinence, a diaper with a high absorption capacity and enhanced leakage protection is recommended. Therefore, in these cases, you should choose diapers with a MAXI absorption level.
Absorption levels vary according to the amount of urine that needs to be retained. Intimus Premium Care diapers are made up of several technologically advanced layers, each designed to meet the specific needs of mild, moderate and severe urinary incontinence.
Intimus Premium Care diapers are available in three absorption capacity levels:
Plus (6 drops), Super (7 drops) and Maxi (8 drops). The Maxi level has the highest absorption capacity, making it ideal for cases of severe incontinence or for overnight use.
Intimus Basic diapers, on the other hand, are recommended for frequent diaper changes due to their lower absorption capacity.
For cases of very severe incontinence, a diaper with a high absorption capacity and enhanced leakage protection is recommended. Therefore, in these cases, you should choose diapers with a MAXI absorption level.
For overnight use, we recommend diapers with a MAXI absorption level. Diapers in this level have the highest absorption capacity. They therefore help reduce the risk of leakage and keep the skin drier, contributing to a more comfortable and restful night's sleep.
The appropriate size depends on the user's waist measurements. The diaper should fit properly to ensure comfort and protection against leakage.
Intimus Premium Care diapers are available in 3 sizes:
M - 90-130 cm waist circumference
L - 120-160 cm waist circumference
XL - 150-175 cm waist circumference
These measurements are for reference only. The appropriate diaper size may vary depending on the user's body shape.
No, Intimus Premium Care diapers are tab-style diapers that offer a more personalised fit and greater absorption capacity. They are especially recommended for people with reduced mobility or who need assistance with changing.
Underpads
The ideal size does not depend on the person's physical build, but rather on the area that needs to be protected. To make choosing easier, here is a simple guide:
60 x 40 cm: Ideal for smaller spaces. It is the right size to discreetly protect wheelchairs, armchairs, the sofa at home or even a car seat.
60 x 60 cm: Very practical for use when changing a diaper. It also works well on the bed and is sufficient if the person has reduced mobility and moves little during sleep.
60 x 90 cm: This is the most versatile size and the most popular for single beds. It perfectly covers the width of the bed, providing an additional safety margin.
90 x 180 cm (with side flaps): The best option for people who move around a lot while sleeping. The absorbent part remains in the centre of the bed, while the excess side sections can be tucked under the mattress. This ensures that the underpad does not slip or move out of place during the night.
No, the Intimus Premium Care 90x180 Super underpad has an absorbent core similar to the 60x90 cm format. The side flaps make up the remaining dimensions. These flaps are used to secure the underpad underneath the mattress.
The flaps are folded underneath and must be fully opened for correct use.
The choice of absorption level depends on the amount of urine leakage and when the underpad will be used (for example, during the day or overnight). In the Intimus Premium Care range, there are two options available:
-
Super (Moderate Incontinence): This is the ideal option for everyday use. As these are very thin and discreet underpads, they provide safe and comfortable protection against frequent and heavy urine leakage without causing discomfort.
-
Maxi (Severe Incontinence): This is the highest absorption level. It is best suited to situations involving very heavy urine leakage or to ensure a peaceful, uninterrupted night's sleep, keeping the bed clean and the skin dry for longer.
Wipes
Yes. Our wipes are made from 100% cellulose fibre fabric, making them completely plastic-free and 100% biodegradable, decomposing naturally in a way that is safe for the planet.
Is it safe to flush the wipes down the toilet?
Yes, it is 100% safe. Most common wipes clog pipes because they contain plastic. Our wipes are different: they are made from 100% cellulose fibre, the same material used to make traditional toilet paper. As soon as they come into contact with the large amount of water in the toilet, they quickly begin to break down, posing no risk to pipes.
We recommend flushing only 1 wipe at a time.
